"As I stormed out of the house, my father's words still lingered in my mind. 'If you want to marry Prajakta, I'll get you married to her, that's my promise.' I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Did he really think it was that simple? That I could just forgive and forget everything he had done? I got into my car and started driving, trying to clear my head.
